Not since reading Emil Zola’s, The Belly of Pairs, have I found a book so descriptive of food set in a novel.

Edith – Thank you for the very generous and lovely comment. It is much appreciated. Can’t tell where you are located, but my next novel, called BUDDHALAND BROOKLYN, is due out in the US in July. It is different, about a Buddhist priest, but I think everyone will recognize that it is the same author at work. I am told it is a much more “mature and accomplished” book. But I am the worst judge of such things. BUDDHALAND BROOKLYN comes out in Australia in September, and in the UK in February, 2013. best, Richard
